Mechanical and Materials Engineering (MME) Undergraduate Research Projects Showcase (URPS)
Poster Printing For 2026 URPS (Deadline: April 17, 2026)
One Submission Per Team: Online Form
Details
The poster sessions are similar in format to science fair competitions. In addition to describing the project on the posters with appropriate diagrams and figures, project groups should prepare a short (8 to 10 minute) presentation to give orally to a group of judges in front of the poster. Even though you will be there to describe your poster, note that a good poster can “stand alone” – that is, it should be sufficiently self-explanatory that a person with minimal background on the project topic could understand your work by viewing the poster. Posters from URPS 2025 are available in the Higgins Labs hallways for reference.
Poster for Reference: MQP_poster_template.pptx (Poster dimensions: 24’’ x 36‘’ leaving 1’’ of blank space on each side)
The judging criteria for URPS 2026 will be released on April 1st.
